This summer go with trekking

This summer go with trekking

Trekking has remained people's passion from the day he took his first step on the earth. Not wrong to say we Indians are one of the most avid trekking tribes in the world and people of Pune are also not far behind in this. With a balanced weather and coming summer vacation, the travel agents are busy in organizing trekking trips throughout the country. They are in an adventurous and sporty mood, which lead them to travel agents to have booking for trekking destinations.

Maharashtra is full of those destinations that can be used for trekking. There are scores of places like Dhak fort, Lonavala, Tumba, Ratnagad, Duke's nose, Torna ,Prabal gadh and many more to name. Besides this the major trekking areas are Leh Ladakh, Shimla, Manali, Bangalore, Ooty, Garhwal, kumaon to name a few are the major attractions among the people.

The travel agents are offering special packages for all kind of ages. Providing various kinds of camps for children and family members that increase their tours day by day. Like for kids, they have organized Manali camp (below the age of 15 years) that is only for the children to enjoy the summer and at the same time to get trekking skills.

As per 'Neeta pragati travels', they take out trekking trips for Leh and Ladakh. Organizing for a small village called Tumba nearby Panchgani is all time favourite. Monthly they have five to six tours of 200 people from sept to oct while for adventure tours they have a Tadova National Park.

The peak season for trekking is from April to May. But the bookings have a wide range of differences. Depending on the demand some travel agents has trekking tours while others do not.

Yuva Shakti and Himalayan Adventures have already started sending tours to Dhak fort where the rock climbing is of 22 ft- 25 ft." It has also a mixed group tour ranging from families to students. There is an increase in the number of ladies that shows a growth of at least 12-13 out of 22 troupe members", says Anil Made, Chief Trekker of Yuva Shakti.

Talking with a student, Saee Kulkarni about the recent experience of trekking to Dhak Fort says that it is really adventurous to see the nature with a closeness that cannot be possible from living in a city. Being a girl it was not easy to explore the places without the help of organizers and friends.

Though trekking sounds so sporty but the difficulties to cross the hurdles are more. It can be graded based on levels of exertion and difficulty. Trekking routes above 5,000 m requires greater physical activity and sustained periods above tree line. It is preferable if you posses some previous trekking experience. Good physical health and some basic mountaineering skills are needed for trekking.
So, if you plan to go out for trekking keep these things in your mind and enjoy the tranquility of nature.

No peace in the new year eve

welcome 2k8 year. I wish it will bring lots of happiness and colours in our life, well rather say in the whole world but on the first day of the year itself made it shameful. Big country big talks. Talks about equality, fraternity and liberty but only for debates. Theories should be converted into practical this year. And our duty is to make it.All across the world, people were in a hope to live this year with peace and love but is it will be a utopia in this earth to live peacefully or can we make it possible is a big question. But no wonder, still we strive only for peace in this earth. I wish lets we make this year more fruitful and colourful by working together.lets go on................
